ATHLETICS CANCELLED – TOMORROW
Mr Schuster the principal of Maungakaramea School has rung this morning to inform us that the Athletics tomorrow is cancelled.
The week before last their school attended camp and have since had covid go through their staff, students and all of their parent teacher group. Therefore, they are very understaffed and unable to run the event and food fundraiser. All schools have been understanding and wish them a speedy recovery.
The rural schools involved will record times/distances for the events at our schools. The results will get sorted and then an area team will be selected to attend the Whangarei Interschool athletics. More information will come about this closer to the time.
SWIMMING
The school pool will be ready for swimming on Wednesday. The teachers will communicate with classes when they are starting daily swim sessions and what is required.
